Description
The Sateen Iron Heart M65 Jacket is a cold weather field coat that was first designed for the US military in 1965. It has appeared in films such as Taxi Driver and Terminator and is now a popular civilian choice. Films like The Terminator, in which a cyborg assassin is sent back in time to kill Sarah, a waitress, in order to prevent her son from fighting his nemesis in the future unless history is changed. To save the youngster from the assassin, Arnold Schwarzenegger dons the terminator jacket. In Taxi Driver, Robert De Niro’s character Travis Bickle wears it (1976). Travis, a Vietnam veteran and ex-marine, works as a taxi driver in New York City. In an endeavour to rid the city of corruption, he saves an underage prostitute from her pimp one day. Films like this have given it a new lease on life.
The Sateen Iron Heart M65 Jacket features four front pockets and a stand-up collar with a built-in hood, as well as an additional, helpful side hand-warmer and internal pockets, as well as a waterproof Ventile inside.
